CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Violet Eyes is now closed.

After three years of bloody hard work the Violet Eyes business instagram and facebook was disabled last week by Facebook. We had no warning, no explanation and as yet no reply from them. As Instagram was a major component of our business presence and source of website traffic this has been to say the least crippling.

For it to happen in the current climate when things are already so uncertain was a double whammy. For a small business run part time by a Mum of a young child its just too much all at once.

Its for this reason that I have had to make the heartbreaking decision to close the doors of Violet Eyes.

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank every person who supported my business, chose to purchase my art and helped me along the way to creating the brand that Violet Eyes became. It was an epic journey that involved a lot of blood, sweat and tears and lots of sacrifices. walking away is really SO hard. 

I hope that at the very least other businesses can learn from this lesson and put measures in place to protect themselves if this should happen to them. It has taught me that building a business that relies on instagram is building a castle made of sand..
